Nope. Not everyone is. But the schools written policy makes it pretty clear that either she is a liar, or she's clueless as to the actual policy. Just like you.
I guess you're used to being clueless though. It clearly doesn't phase you anymore. I've provided multiple links from multiple sources. You go on bleating and cling to the ass of the "school official".

That despite the links that say otherwise... he's right and all the other sources are wrong.

Congrats on making a post equally as stupid as his.
Edit: On second though, yours is even more stupid. His at least can be chalked up to error and not having the balls to admit error. Yours is just bigoted crap.

A person can carry a gun and not do it out of fear. 100%.
How? How is wanting to carry a gun not a direct result of being concerned that you might need to use it (aka being afraid). There are situations where it is justified. Walking around suburbia or even most cities, it is not.
BTW. Oregon is a concealed carry state and guns are allowed on college campuses. There was even a guy who tired to shoot the guy shooting up the school. So much for the good guy with a gun theory.
According to the UCC Vice President:
Quote:
Redell, Oct. 19: The student misconduct policy regarding firearms does not apply to students with a valid concealed weapons permit. There is a general prohibition against the possession of weapons on campus that would apply to College patrons, but this, similarly would not apply to those with valid concealed weapon permits pursuant to Oregon law (ORS 166.170).
Have you ever thought some people are prideful and just do it to show off? That would be one way to carry it not out of fear but out of pride. You know the "Whoaaa look at me, im hot stuff- a big shot, I got a gun!"
What if I bought a new gun and I want to carry because I like looking at it and stuff and I want to show my friends? That would be a way to carry with out being in fear. I don't carry a gun any where on me right now but if I did I would not do it out of fear. What if I just wanna see what it feels like to carry a gun? To get a understanding of the seriousness of it and the heaviness that comes along with it. It's not a toy. You can't play games with it and be responsible. I'm personally not worried of other people to the point that I "need" a gun, because I believe in a higher power watching over me- a 9ft tall angel that follows me around who looks like Mr.Clean. I do believe it's possible that the Great Spirit may tell me "Carry a gun today", I would see nothing wrong with that, it would mean I might need it or nothing might happen. Who am I to question a higher power and his reasons? I do not believe gun's are "un Godly", I think they have their time and place. Those are my personal beliefs. So if I ever carried a gun it would be just because I can- to exercise that right.

You're right, there are people like that. I really don't think anyone believes that is a good rationale for carrying a gun

are you trying to convince us that you've never been murdered by someone that has legally or illegally murdered you with a handgun that may or may not have been used in your murder and thus since you were murdered you have no opinion about firearms?

That's exactly what I got out of it lol.
I'm sure there is a percentage of gun bearers that simply enjoy feeling like a badass or enjoy emulating the feeling of being a gunslinger/cowboy. I my neck off the woods I know people who enjoy emulating the image of the "mountain man" which around here is only a generation or two from reality.
