active woodlovers that might grow in Texas?

taking suggestions for active woodlovers that could possibly grow in a controlled environment in Texas. Preferably one that doesnt need to be soo cold. Any suggestions?

it is know to fruit in spring/early summer in europe.

sounds interesting. Wiki says it was first documented in Pennsylvania. You sure that this is a warm loving species?

no, i just know it is a woodlover and it fruits in spring.
so that makes it the one shroom i know about that deviates from the common
requirements for all other woodlovers i know about, which all fruit in fall/winter.
