First and second flush questions/problems

Hi there, I have 15 cakes in my SGFC.
I have harvested 13 of them after their first flush, but have only managed to get around 15g dry from all of these cakes. A lot of the mushrooms were very small, I had many aborts and only very few were quite meaty/normal sized. 15g dry seems a little on the low side for 13 cakes, is this normal?
I proceeded to dunk the cakes (after harvesting) for 24 hrs. They are now sitting back in the SGFC. I mist around 3-5 times a day, and fan afterward. I mist until the cakes glisten, and remist once the cakes stop glistening. There doesn't seem to be any growth or signs of growth at all, they have been sat in there for a week now. How long should I be waiting for a second flush?
My cakes also seem to pin toward the bottom of the cake. I understand this is due to moisture on the foil, but is there any way I can prevent this? I've had very few shrooms actually grow on the tops of the cakes.
I'm quite concerned my SGFC isn't working as intended. I have holes on all sides, 2 inches apart, with around 4-5 inches of perlite at the bottom. The room temperature is around 20c mostly, sometimes dipping to 18c. The two cakes remaining are pinning right now but the fruits are incredibly small (some have also suffered from bacterial blotch, but misting is very light and often indirect. Most of the pins are also aborting and I haven't actually had any decent sized fruits from these cakes yet) and some have long fuzz on the bases, which I've read could indicate all sorts of things.
How come a LOT of my fruits are so small and veils tearing so early? Genetics? Is there anything I can do? Is it a good idea to try a regular non-shotgun fruiting chamber?
Sorry for the boat load of questions. But I'm just wondering if there's actually anything I could do on this second flush to ensure a decent pin set and fruits.
Many thanks.

Got pics? You could be misting too much.

could be contams. fruit size most likely genetics. you mist then fan(for evaporation purposes) no need to mist directly after fanning. is your sgfc propped up so it can get airflow from the bottom?
