funny you say that. my mind wanders to that place when I'd read about them going out into the desert.
on the subject, I had a chance to do to mountaineering in some meztizo mountains a few months ago and those books were all I could think about. we did this one peak that had these awesome caves on the way up, but we were racing a storm so I decided not to trail off and check it out. it haunts me to this day.
totally unrelated note, those chocolate mushrooms in your avatat are seriously delicious. i want some
