Hi guys I want to share with you my experience, I hope it can help someone else struggling with the same situation.
Like a year ago I had many bad trips, one after another and they really affected me, I started feeling nervous and depressed all the time, I even started feeling I was permanently stuck in a bad trip, I stopped using psychedelics for many month but I wasn't getting better.
One day I decided to try Buddhist meditation to try to calm myself so I made a research and found 3 techniques anapanasati, vipassana and metta bhavana and decided to try anapanasati and within few weeks I noticed great progress, I've been doing it for like 5 months and now I'm completely back to normal in fact I'm even happier than before, now Im trying metta bhavana which I feel its helping me too and I want to try vipassana but it requires a 10 day course to learn the technique
You can find a lot of tutorials online on how to practice the anapanasati.

meditation is good after any trip, good or bad. it really helps ease the mind, specially the meditation u recommended, the breathing meditations, i've found to be most effective.

I do the same. Will certainly try these methods. They're good for curing depression? How so?

i suppose it can be a temporary fix to one's depression, as it can help u not think about it so much, it can also work like a crutch till u can stand on ur own.

it may sound funny, but meditating upon the thought 'i am healed' can be very healing. sending energy down specific, healing channels, such as 'i am at peace,' 'i am healthy,' 'i am strong,' 'i am happy,' has a profound impact.. mind creates our reality, or h'art mind; as they say, when the mind is transformed, the world / universe is transformed.
there are so many projections floating around - so to have these healing practices can do wonders.. mind and h'art, and body, all have a natural healing process; when we have faith in them, it doubles basically.. and to simply leave the wound alone -- clean the wound, and then trust to the healing of the h'art mind,
the same as when any cut on the body occurs, i would direct healing energy towards it, it heals much more quickly.. this is faith in the body.. in the healing powers already there. and if a cut on the finger, for instance, again natural healing..
op that is wonderful; am very happy you are in such a place keep up the good work. . .i really love the word bhavana, hehe
also -- i almost forgot but - the line from cripple crow always resonates profoundly with me- 'well close that wound, or keep on bleeding'
i mean, he sings it with beauty and love; but that is also a really big thing -- and shantideva wrote about it in his poem, too..
namaste and peace and love
thank you all so much for being here.. you make this community to be such a wonderful place, and i am so glad this shroomery is here.

ive never even tried mushrooms but im beginning to cultivate them for my own personal use because i trust that they have things to teach that i want to learn but for the time im waiting for my spores to get here ive been meditating almost every day when i have time to myself and it is easing my mind a lot and is preparing me for spiritual experiences. i am a firm believer in meditation although ive never looked into buddhist meditation of this kind i learned how to meditate in Danzaan ryu jujitsu and its been much help.

Oh man! that is awesomeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!! i wandered into a jujitsu lounge ( dojo? ), one time after my aikido class and had a brief, couple minute lesson. . . very beautiful. I think you'll be pleased with Zen and / or, the rest of Buddhism. . . 'Entering The Stream' is the best book, most likely. . . totally wonderful compendium, on the different areas of it. . . really incredible. the Hsin Hsin Ming, song of Faith Mind is in there. Worthwhile, to say the least. It's a penny on Amazon.
and Peace.
Also there is this, and this-

It is truly amazing what we can do while sitting on our mediation pillows. The mind is like a reflection of the whole universe and we can explore it when we quiet the chatter.

Thankyou for coming back and sharing this, in my eyes meditation is so important when it comes to psychedelics, as otherwise so many mind states can potentially take hold of ones conscousness during or after an experience.
Some people can believe that they're stuck in a certain state because of a bad experience and it can seem impossible to pull themselves out of it, getting very depressed, fearful etc... meditation is a practice that is really going to help to see through these beliefs and stop the mind in it's tracks before these states have a chance to develop.

This is good. You don't use psyches in order to grow dependent on them. You use them to learn how to get to the next stage, the stage where you don't need or want them any longer. The bad trip is a message. It says:" OK, you've gotten all you can by this route. Now try something different."
You sound like you got the message.
