Habitat: North Georgia, growing on a hill of clay, bark, gravel, and pine needles
Gills: Some look darker brown, others a lighter brown
Stem: varying from 2"-4", hollow, fibrous texture when broken apart
Cap: Olive, Brown, some turning dark blue/black.
Spore print color: Spore print collection currently in progress
Bruising: Appears to have minor blue bruising
Other information: The smell reminds me of psychedelic mushrooms I've had in the past, hard to describe though.

That's them. Congrats! Out of curiosity, did you just pick these today (friday)?
I have had good luck lately but have had to avoid my grass patches and go find new areas on the edges of thick shrubs and weeds.

Thank you so much for the confirmation, I truly appreciate it.
I did pick these on Friday, and it was my first successful find. I think I might have found them one other time (wasn't sure so I tossed them ), here's a pic -

I would have thrown those out too. I'm glad that you picked them friday, just means that they are out there even without rain right now. Just got to hunt the right areas. I found about the same number yesterday in the Woodstock area growing between a building and thick shrubbery, right on the edge of the shrubs and grass. The building was shading the area for most of the day so the soil there was very moist. It was different than what I usually find, because these were growing right out of a nasty mix of clay and rocks.
Keep hunting and again congrats on the first find!

Thanks you guys!
I found some more today near Powder Springs. Most of them are black, but I can see where a few of them are transitioning from brown to black and they all smell the same (and similar to the original find I posted). I'm pretty sure they're all Weillii.

I also came across these fellas that look a little bit like that last photo I posted. What do you guys think of these? They did NOT smell like the previous Weilii find or the images posted above. The smell was neutral.

I don't know what the second ones are but, without feeling them and seeing them myself, id say throw them out.
Powder Springs, eh? That's where I found my first ever patch, confirmed by Alan 8 years ago I believe. Good area to hunt for sure.

I'm starting to second guess myself. I'm feeling certain about all the dark ones, but the lighter one in pictures #2 and #3 on the right seems questionable to me. The cap looks like a psilocybe to me, but it just doesn't look like the others. I'm starting to think it looks more like the ones on the moss that weren't weilii.
