went hunting today and came across what i believe to be cyanecans. i found this patch grwing by some wood chips and grass.. then i found a secound patch which i am starting to think is not cyans..
1st patch:

Your second patch is no good.

The first group looks like Cyans to me, the second ones are definitely not though. I'm not sure what they would be I just know those aren't cyans in the second post.

also i left all the ones that looked like they had slugs eating them and all the babies... is there anything i can do to help that patch be more prolific?

The dark stuff if it's purplish brown is spore deposit from taller mushrooms. If it's actually gooey and moist then it's rot. I wouldn't eat the goopy blackish rotten ones personally.
Yea try not fucking with it too much. Don't bring attention to your spot. Snip don't pull them up cover with leaves to hide from other hunters.

yea there were a few that looked like deposits and there were a few that were definitly rot.. is it ok to just remove the rotted area from that cap and dry em out? any idea how potent the guys r i am new to the pnw and ate some before but i only got to the giggly wavy phase from them dried. only ate a small handfull but they seemed a lot weaker than the commercial psilocybins i used to get in cali..

im so excited my heart literally jumped and i lost breath when i found them... i hear all these storied about people searching for 5+ seasons b4 they ever find em, im so thankfull to u guys here at the shroomery
