For what kind of job? In general I'd say no though.

Requires way too much cognition.

lol. Any kind of manual labor not involving heavy machinery could work. Cleaning and such is good stoned. Lots of artsy things. Virtually everything else though would not work so well

Depends on the job and how comfortable you are with your work.
In most cases though I would say it's a bad idea unless you really on point with your work. If your job is dangerous or can lead to injury, I would say it's a No.

There's a time and place for everything....
--------------------
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Psalm 12:6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Definitely not for me, at any job.
I assume you mean weed, which makes time drag ass all day. Also makes me stupid and antisocial/nervous.
Anything else also no. If there was an amphetamine that lasted 40 minutes with no comedown then i would do that in a heartbeat, but alas it doesnt exist.
Drinking is another story. I can have 2-3 beers and do my job just fine if not better. 75% of my job is sales and talking prices to customers and alcohol makes for a good social lubricant

As others are saying, it depends on the job. Wouldn't do it for my current job, but it can be fine for some kinds of physical labor and so on. Playing music too, if you're lucky enough to find any paid music work.

It depends. At my last job, I felt so unappreciated and disrespected that I really didn't give a fuck and I would be high AF pretty much all day every day. These days, I have a better job and prefer to be sober at work so I can do a better job, which ultimately makes things easier for me.

You can't take a day off? Taking acid at work as a security guard seems like a terrible idea to me

It funny how it seemed like a good idea to me based off what he said until you pointed out that its not

I wouldn't do it because I work with expensive systems with high pressures and hot gases. If I had a more chill job I totally would though. When I was 17 I taught snowboarding on the weekends and was a bag boy on the week days. Never showed up to work not blazed

I dont have a job, but my brother-in-law works for a contractor, and at least 2-3x per month some lazy ass doesnt show up and I will fill in for them, doing everything from concrete work, to bending sheets of steel, to driving heavy machinery..I always show up high as fuck, ready to work. The last time was 2 weeks ago..we were working at a chicken farm that had just gassed all its chickens from bird flu. Had to drive manure spreader, which is something i had not previously done. I showed up high as fuck, he showed me how to operate the tractor and spreader controls as we smoked one of the joints i brought for breaks...Point is I get high before I do anything...Its my natural state, I just dont feel comfortable and able unless Im high
