"breathable" plasters to substitute micropore tape
    #22388026 - 10/16/15 11:45 AM (8 years, 3 months ago)

Whats up fellas, I don't have medical tape so im wondering if using these "breathable" plasters will work just the same for covering inoculation holes to allow GE but preventing contams, thanks!

Already sterilized and inoculated 3 days ago, up until yesterday i had tinfoil over them. Then someone suggested to me that gas exchange was really important.

this is how they're looking right now

So you fully exposed your dry vermiculite  layer to put those jar lids on? Working with a SAB?

Nope, the jar lid has never been off since before the sterilization. Had foil covering the holes until yesterday when i removed it to allow some GE, and no not working with a SAB

If you got a dry Verm layer in there, just pull the tape off of the holes.
