Hello! The season is here, with little rain I am surprised to say I see all sorts of patches flourishing in humid, and temperate coastal areas! Here is a little find along a creek, not far from the Ocean bay. Ps. Cyan. Cheers

Do you have any pictures of the habitat? Where they growing near or around alder? Was it a coastal creek bed, like an inlet or wetland or whatever they are called? How far inland was it (like in miles)? Was it in a park or anything?
That's an incredible find they really aren't in any sort of man made habitat.

I need to know as well....must be magical to find them in the wild. You should make your own patch with the mycelium....the genetics are possibly different than the common metropolitan ones.

They were found in a creek bed area, with natural alder and conifer mulch decaying, mixed in under a fern, not farm from some blackberries and thickets. No wood chips in sight, this was found in a creek near olympia
