Gymnopilus junious I believe (monsters!)

Found these huge beasts growing directly on the stump of an old rotting tree in a forest in eastern massachusetts. As you can see from the pictures they are bright orange in color (they really stood out once I first spotted them), the ones that appear reddish/rust colored on the caps are absolutely covered in spores. These gyms have that sweet distinct gyms smell, and they also have the brown ring on the stem, although on some of them it is difficult to see because there are so many spores that have absolutely covered the stems. I am pretty confident these are gymnopilus junious, but it is always smart and safe to get an ID from a trusted identifier on here. Thank you for any confirmation you can give me, I appreciate your time and efforts spent on helping others.

Meant to say that I apologize in advance for the quality of some pictures, it was getting dark when I taking these shots, I think I uploaded enough though to be able to correctly identify them

Some additional useful info: The reason why there are so many of the last dark pictures was that I was trying to show the ring on them stem

there is no visible bruising that I can see right now, but I have heard that gyms do not always bruise easily if at all, I could be wrong about that, but I am 99% sure there are gyms, just looking for that 1% to confirm

I would have much more confidence if I could see new photos that were of good, pure visibility!

Alright, here's some pictures of better quality, although I have already started to dry the mushrooms out so their color has become less intense

The genus Gymnopilus is a good fit.

Thanks man, I really appreciate what you do on this site, helping not just myself, but helping many other folks identify mushrooms as well, you guys have saved people a lot of trouble and effort spent researching all the different kinds of psychedelic mushrooms so thanks again for all you've done. do you think these are gyms but not junious? just curious, I like to learn about things, i know the pictures are limited to make a specific classification but what would your best guess be?

just saw that huge list you posted, very fascinating, now I understand why it is difficult to make a specific classification when there are so many different types of gyms! I am very interested in this stuff now, where before I would just walk by mushrooms and never even stop to look. it's amazing all the things that exist in the microscopic world around us!

No. That doesn't mean that they aren't. I just can't conclude that they are based on what is visible.
My educated guess would be that they are in Gymnopilus section spectabilis-imperialis, but I have doubts and they are serious doubts. I would save this collection after drying it for your personal study. If the area produces a bumper crop, you can borrow a friend's camera to get the kind of photographs you'll want. You can get really good and affordable cameras on ebay, some for $10 and lower.
