Sounds about right brother!
Have you read the short story 'The Egg' by Andy Weir? It's quite fascinating seeing the concept in a fictional work. I guess it went viral for a reason!!

I haven't read the other posts, but I disagree with you strongly. I guess that there is this idea that the body is filthy and disgusting and "grounds" us here on earth and prevents us from reaching high states of conciousness and that it bounds our soul. At least this is how I felt
I have come to realize through proper diet, excercise, and yoga, that your body is VERY real. Your body and mind are not even different. They are one. I would say try it out!

Yes the human body is very real. Just as real as your dreams and imagination.

I do all of those things. My conclusions are as they are. Many others have the same conclusions. Try it out?

Well what I am saying is the way that u treat your body reflects a lot about ur mental state. If u eat garbage food, it still effect ur mind/mental state. If u have shitty posture it effects the way u think in a very real way
So when the above poster says that it's real the same way dreams are...?
Try eating fried chicken and beer every meal and see how ur vitality and energy levels plummet. I wud be surprised if ur clarity of mind was not effected

I think you're approaching this thing from a far less ethereal perspective than myself, and some other posters here topdog. I completely agree with what you're saying, it's common sense 101.
However the topic of the thread is something of a much less tangible nature..

Well thats awesome that we are on the same page now. I understand a little bit more what you were trying to say originally.
And the answer would be that the body and mind are one. BOTH are merely projections of conciousness IMO. Clearly my opnion
either way, interesting perspective on the topic

death has always intrigued me since i was a kid i used to be scared of it but as i picked up on psychedelic experience i realized death was much more than an eternal rest in a never ending void, i feel as though death is the freeing of the physical barrier that is, our body. i think our mind is freed into a different dimension where who knows what awaits idk if im making sense but ive felt like that when meditating on shrooms ive felt myself disconnect for a few minutes from the physical world and into another "place"
