What's going on with this agar?

Very curious I've never seen a mass form like this on a Petri dish before, any insight?

Was this from MS or is it after transfer. Strain? Type of agar? If you did MS syringe inoculation was it just one drop?

It's a cutting from the inner core of my largest cluster ever. Yes it was a wbs monotub. *edit* the agar is potato flakes agar and honey I believe

You should have took a transfer way sooner... you can still cut you a piece and try to transfer away from contams.

This. Go in the middle where it's rizmorphic. Don't inoculate anything until it's clean, rizmorphic and organised.

The fluffy cluster could just be a product of the MS. I've seen that in a lot of tubs that started from MS spawn. But Loc is right, this should have been transferred long before it got to this point. Personally, unless I didn't have other more viable options, I probably would discard the plate.
