Possible Psilocybe in Southeast Alaska

Habitat: Growing from well decayed wood.
Gills: Dark gills, not attached to the stem.
Stem: Thin, reddish stem
Cap: Conical cap, tan to olive with incurved margin on some specimens, margin olive green when fresh.
Spore print color: Prints came out light but it's definitely black or purple brown.
Bruising: No bruising

Any help identifying this species is greatly appreciated. Have found tons of these in southeast alaska this fall and am hoping for my first wild active, overlooked on many of my outings. I'll answer any questions you may have to aid in an ID. Thanks in advance guys!

At first look I thought they were Psathyrella. But what if they were Psilocybe Cyanofibrillosa? I have never found them and I was under the impression that they blued heavily.
EDIT: Ehhhh, I think those are Psathyrella. I got excited for you for a second. You said there is bluing but I don’t see a trace of any bluing and your prints aren’t good enough.

if not, try to see if you can peel off the top layer off the cap. google "separable gelatinous pellicle"

They aren't dry yet, just found them a couple hours ago. Peeled back one cap and the skin peeled away but I wouldn't say it was gelatinous. I can try dropping some water on the gills to get a better spore, I read somewhere that it might help. And maybe do it on tin foil, would that be better? There was definitely no bruising, just an olive greenish margin. My high hopes were getting the best of me haha.

If they didn’t have a pellicle, don’t bother. The only thing those could have been (that I am aware of) is fibs. And they have pellicles and notable bruising. And the gills of the mushroom you have are too dark.

No worries, I've been hiking a lot and no actives to be found in the woods of southeast yet. This was my best bet so far. Gonna try the city sites next, grassy lawns and wood chipped areas around town. Farthest south I can get in AK so there should be something hiding out there waiting for me to find.

Would this be a pellicle? Wasn't sure since I've found a lot of slimy mushrooms that have a slimy gelatinous coat on the cap that most of the time wipes off, but this you have to peel back from the margin. Very thin membrane. Note, it has been dry for a few days.. Abnormal for southeast AK lol. Wondering if this is what you were talking about though, for future reference if asked again.

No, there is no pellicle in your picture. But don’t worry about that too much. You won’t really find them on dried mushrooms, so you should know the actives that grow in your area and focus on how to ID them anyways.
This is a pellicle:
http://www.tiedyedfreaks.org/ace/mushrooms/icicle/GOMPHUSPELLICLE2_10_13_03.JPG
Look for indicator species. If you see mushrooms growing in deciduous mulch, you are on the right track for multiple Psilocybes such as stuntzii and cyans. People say that finding wild cyans is extremely difficult. I never have. If you have pastures in your area, look into Psilocybe semilanceata.
EDIT: These are the mushrooms that grow in your area: The more * the more rare. Gymnopilus junonius** Panaeolus cinctulus* Panaeolus fimicola*** Psilocybe cyanescens*
Hey, at least you have cyans!!! Alaska is a big state though, so they may not have been found in your area. But you better go check some wood chips. Update this thread with any finds....good luck!
