Coming from you it literally means nothing. Want some facts? I think you're literally the first person to call me a tard, yet I know for a fact I've seen you get called a tard by multiple people over a range of subjects like car buying, drug use, political views etc. Consistency wins and you're the one who is consistently considered a tard for the stuff you do and say. That is a fact.

I don't value the life of a cow over the lives of 1000 plants. you either kill something, eat it, live, or let everything live except for you.  something needs to die in order to sustain life.  theres a reason meat tastes good--we kinda fucking need it to, you know...live.

Because it tastes good right? I'm a simple man, I like simple things, blahblahblah.

Here in France a video showing the insides of a slaughterhouse was just released. The level of violence and cruelty displayed are mind-blowing.
You could be watching a wildlife documentary and think "wow not cool" when the pack of hyenas bleeds little by little a sick and tired buffalo. Then you watch this and feel like you've woken up from a really nice dream and that reality is really just a nightmare.

Isn't it interesting how differently we treat humans - animals themselves - and other animals? How we are really careful about not hurting anyone's feelings but yet we can lift an old horse up in the air and smash its head with a hammer until the skull shatters as if it was just an inanimate thing? Or, in a less shocking way, how we have "pet stores" where we basically keep babies in tiny unhygienic cages until a passerby has enough pity to give that little fellow a somewhat decent life?

We know pigs are very intelligent creatures, we know animals aren't that different from us, we've studied them and communicated in fascinating ways with gorillas, elephants and dogs who have shown us that they too feel emotions. Yet it still doesn't connect, it still doesn't translate into action. You can still grab a one month old kitten and smash it against a wall and it's nothing, nothing happened. Do that with a human and you're all over the news. Sure, we're different, but are we that different? Are humans everything and the rest nothing?

There is a scene where pigs are asphyxiated in a cage too small to fit them all. It's industrialized murder. If you industrially slaughter human beings through asphyxiation, it ends up in history books. If you do the same with pigs, nothing happens. Even if you can see them squeal and scream and screech to death as they convulse in that metal cage.

Even then, cheap BBQs are more important.

Video is NSFW I guess.

Yes we let them through a section that sprays CO2 upon them so they lose conciousness then we shoot a bolt through the back of their neck.

Let me know when you find a solution instead instead of pondering why. Would you rather have chemicals in your meat? AFAIK Euthanasia is a thing with humans. Atleast here it is. Yes that's by own choice and you could debate that.
Jokes on you if you think the world is daisies and love and think humans don't get treated even more brutal.

Are you seriously complaining about people doing linework from 4am to 6pm so everyone gets fed?
I don't disagree but get real.

How else do you think the primo cut ends up in the store?
You can buy whole pigs here too so you can do the job yourself.

1. For athletes animal protein is the most complete form of protein.
2. Our bodies need for certain combos of amino acids to perform at peak condition should have nothing to do with how we slaughter the animals. Free range.

with the exception of a few people who have the facilities for slaughtering and
aging beef, even the people that buy straight from the farmer are getting meat
from a slaughterhouse, have you ever had beef that was  a fresh kill? it's gross
even if the farmer is selling you the meat it almost always went through a
slaughterhouse

also, anyone that uses the term factory farm should be ignored because they dont
know what the hell they're talking about

I only eat meat when offered really.

Just for my own reasons but morals are not part of them but i'm not going to be so impolite to tell a hard-working mom taking care of 4 children offering me a piece of bacon.

I think some people are just spoiled.

there are quite a few animals that would eat humans if they had a chance and there are some that would not be able to eat humans, only kill them.

I've never seen this brutal of killing of livestock. I believe horses should not be openly slaughtered. They are very smart creatures and who the fuck actually eats horse meat. Sadly I'd probably try it.

From the videos I've seen before once they are ready to be slaughtered they are funneled into cages and shot with the captive bolt pistol (piston thing) that kills them instantly. The slashing of the throat and stabbing is fucking animal abuse for sure. They invented the captive bolt pistol to instantly kill them.

Europe isn't really up to date in some parts and this has been what they have done culturally for a long time.

Forget eating animals, when are we going to start eating people?  We can feed ourselves AND take care of this over population problem.
