OVER 200 PINS!
    #22378264 - 10/14/15 12:05 PM (8 years, 3 months ago)

Habitat: SE Pennsylvania, on a hill in grass next to a evergreen tree.

Gills: Tanish brown, close, attached.

Stem: The few I picked had 1/4" dia stem, around 2" tall. Most were clustered together. Bruised brown. At the very base when I split them apart they appeared to bruise slightly blue (maybe).

Cap: tan, @1.5" flat, kinda wavy in the older ones, the little ones were dome shaped.

Spore print color: started about 1 hr ago but looks to be brown.

Bruising tan to brown. Maybe a tinge of blue at the very base.

Other information: no smell. There are hundreds of pins close to opening in a 10x10 square. So a buddy of mine would be very excited if they were active. Here's hoping and thanks for the ID!

 I dunno, not familiar with your area.  Wait for a TI, they will know.

In the mean time, homework:

Thank you for the second one. Everytime I find a new mushroom, I scour over that list. There are so many variations that it's hard to match them up. Any suggestions for a good mushroom guide (all mushrooms) for my area? Thanks

If I had to choose, I would say it most resembles inocibe.
