clumpy spores

I recieved my two syringes of gulf coast and one was totally frozen and the other was mostly froze. After thawing the spores are quite clumpy. ive tried shaking, each syringe has probably got like a half hour of shaking and the damn spores are still in clumps. should i try to send them back or will they still work?

they should be ok I wouldn't bother sending them back....

Where did you buy them from?

Many vendors will replace a syringe in said situation. Try growing them and if nothing germinates in a week, then try writing to the vendor to explain the situation. They will probably send you 2 more and then you have 2 free empty syringes, which is good since they are tough to get!

i got my spores from earths tongue, but since they're for "microcopy use only" would it matter if they're clumped? www.earthstongue.com

of course it does! I don't know about earths toung's policy, but other vendors will replace bunk syringes.

all i would add is that if you do write the vendor,be polite,and profesional,dont flip out on them because things didnt work out.All the vendors here are stand up people.Just explain things to them,they will take care of it.
