Zap in a very typical move refuses to admit he used the word poorly even when its defined for him.
"a state of unease or generalized dissatisfaction with life."
You could say the mix of hormones later in life could lead to dysphoria with ones sex, if that is what you meant. But the phrasing you used is so clumsy as to be almost unintelligible.
>Do you deny that their genetics led to the dysphoria of when and what hormones were released during fetal brain development?

Their genetics caused an illtimed and atypical flood of hormones during development.

Quote:
How does the MtF Transsexual?
Like the normal male embryo, the male to female Transsexual brain starts out female. Then between the 8th and 24th weeks, the ‘XY’ chromosomes introduce testosterone hormonal changes, but the hormonal washes as faulty. They are either insufficient or ill timed. When this happens, the fetus develops a male body. However, some of the default (original) female brain processes remain intact. Thus, the brain’s gender identity remain intact. Thus, the brains gender identity remains female. This means that Transsexual males whose process of brain masculinization was incomplete, Their default female brains still function. The degree of arrested development can vary. The orgininal brain circuitry that was missed in the masculinizing process provides a continuing feminine influence. This explains why many Transsexuals, biological males know, from as early as 3 years old, that they are actually members of the opposite sex.
Quote:
What is the job of the ‘XX’ and ‘XY’ chromosomes?
It seems that one of the jobs of the ‘XX’ and ‘XY’ chromosomes is to govern the introduction of testosterone into the womb. However, chromosomal influence is limited by the many glitches that can happen during the fetal growth process. This is why each human being possesses a unique mixture of male and female traits. Some of these mixes (eg: Transsexualism) make the individuals who have them significantly different from society’s expectations. This causes these people much confusion and suffering. Indeed, there are, in our world, many males who have ‘XX’ chromosomes and many females who have ‘XY’ chromosomes.
It isn't a choice.

Basically the space is rented for all sorts of meetings, you know it can be a space for elderly gays to meet, or trans community meetups, or parents and families, gay disabled, gay sports teams heh, there are myriads of activities that occur at the center, art galleries, there's a library... Troubled gay youth may come for resources, runaways etc..... We're the only center between S.F and Vancouver..... Seattle doesn't have one, kind of sad.
Yanno, here in Oregon insurance will pay for gender reassignment surgery, but there are a lot of bullshit hoops to jump through, same as our death by dignity laws.. Seems progressive but the amount of people who actually get to take advantage of this shit is not impressive.

I never felt uncomfortable with her except when she started being an abusive bitch.

Not to downplay their want for equal treatment - that should be a given - it's surprising how big of a deal the issue is with trans people, when they're an estimated .1-.3% of the population.

I called you out on your "reality has a conservative bias" bullshit, and you got butthurt. That is what happened.
Liberals say the same thing, only that it has a liberal bias. Both parties always say it like it's general knowledge, weird isn't it?

If reality had conservative bias the big bang wouldnt have happened, galaxies wouldnt have formed and we'd still be in the pre-cambrian era of evolution.
Mother nature LOVES new things and lets them completely turn the status quo upside down if they are viable.
In a world where the past consistently was less advanced than the present and the present less advanced than the future, conservatism is a resistance to the flow of things.
Completely contrary to mother nature it favors the old over the young.
