Can I get an identification please
    #22376975 - 10/14/15 03:55 AM (8 years, 3 months ago)

Habitat:
Found is grassland, previously grazed by cows. They were found growing in and around dung.

Gills:
Dark Purple/Dark Grey. Dont appear to be attached. See pictures

Stem:
Length approx 10cm, hollow, purple/brown colour

Cap:
Between 10-30mm

Spore print color:
Black

Bruising:
Unsure

Other information:
Smell a lot like normal mushrooms I guess. Found while on a walk yesterday, there is a lot more and I am wondering if they are worth picking. For 'recreational' purposes. Located in the UK. Personally I think they are just LBM, possibly panaeolus. But I might as well ask.

Pictures:

Thanks guys! If you need any more info or pics I will do my best to oblige

Compare to Panaeolus papilionaceus. Also, if you see one bluing like that, compare to Copelandia cyanescens.

How much can the colour vary in a species?

I am not sure I have either of those. Anyone else feel like weighing in?

I'm in no way an experienced identifier and you shouldn't take only my word for it, but I've had some ID threads on here for copelandia cyanescens. Your second picture looks like they definitely could be copes. Not sure about to other ones though.

Do not take my word for it. That is my own novice opinion.

And i've been told with copelandia cyanescens color can vary greatly.

There is some variance in most species, probably.

Wait can Copelandia cyanescens be located in the UK? I said cyanescens but I realized he said the UK. I'm still learning so I'm just trying to take advantage

It is not known to occur in the UK or in Europe.
