Ohio magic mushrooms

Hi, I hunt for mostly edibles and have not really looked for magic mushrooms. I have found some amanita mascara in the local pine forests, but don't really know what to look for when it comes to psilocybin. I was hoping people from OHIO could post some pics of what you found along with habitat, season, bruising, and life cycle time along with any other info you think may be helpful. I read a lot about mushrooms, but information is often incomplete.

not necessarily, but its a good indicator for identification. as far as I know, not all gyms will bruise very much since they are generally very weak

I took your advice and took a trip along the river on a well eaten stump I found a bunch of stump puffballs and some lil tan/orange mushrooms with green gills and upper stem. Where I broke the stem it seems to have turned black and where I have brused the cap it turned dark brown. I am attempting to take a spore print. Sadly the mushroom completely dried out before it left any spores. Taste bitter.
