I use glad wrap on my petries. I cut the role down into smaller 1 to 2 inch role and just wrap the edge. It works great.

I do pretty much the same thing but instead of cutting all the way through the cardboard, I just cut 1.5-2 inch strips all the way down to the cardboard - across the whole roll.

There, just pictures. That was easy. Didn't even require any banning.

People seriously complain about off topic discussions?
They complain about it?

Good god what a bunch of softies.
Here's a random picture so y'all don't shit a brick.
Since that "Images Only" button at the bottom AND top of the thread on every page is probably not easy enough to reach.

Agar wedges to 6 jars of oats.
It sure seems like more effort to complain to a mod than simply scrolling past, especially since the posts are discussing the photos and cultivation related activities.

Hello friends! I'm new to cultivation of any sorts. I did a good bit of reading before starting. I'm about 10 days into colonization of rye grains. What do you guys think so far?
Left B+, Right Cambodian

B+

Broken in half...I'm assuming it's 100% colonized?

A colonized piece of tongue depressor in an LC solution. It was placed in my agar plate before sterilization. After allowing the myc to colonize half of the toothpick, I pulled it out and dropped it in the LC jar in my SAB. I've swirled it every day or so to break apart the myc.

Second flush bottles subs that were birthed. Note that many of the pins are located away from the main substrates and are coming from the colonized coir that the bulk cakes are sitting on and around.

I noticed my AA+ doing this a lot more than some of my other grows. Maybe your RW has snagged that trait along as well.

Want my advice? Slow it down. Go easy. Start over. You battled trich all summer. We all did, some worse than others. You were in the latter category. Don't use that straw you were talking about. Use coir. Properly pasteurize the coir. Go agar to grain to bulk. Think about any changes you made 6-9 months ago. Think hard. Go back to basics and then start advancing again. Cleaning multiple tubs that never produced anything sucks tranny cock. 1 successful tubs trumps a million failed. Good luck! I know you can do it!
And this rule applies to anyone having contam issues. Don't switch more than one thing at a time. If you want to try lc's, new lids, and bags, go easy. Try lids first and make sure all is good. Meaning wait until you have fruits. Then do the bags.......and then the lc It's a mother fucker to pin point the cause when you change more than one variable. Remember, don't count you mushrooms until the are dry.
And with the weather cooling, get it guys. Make hay when the sun shines and grow mushrooms when the weather is fine.

The direction I took these are very AA+. The brown spores and more solid stipes seem to be the only big differences.
