TSE:ENB.PF.C I'm watching this one to buy instead of ETF with MER also looking into BMO shares for day trading. I am waiting to trade LRE shares I'm looking for value and I'd be buying more around .4 and within one month I'm looking at selling to buy a education. I've mentioned day trading up to 5k, but my next move before I get into this will be selling ETF's at a decent value for having owned them all summer. That ATVI really took off since I bought it she moved from 22-34 Speaking of by the way, the company has PE of 26.18 I think that the ATVI blizzard portion is in a struggle to keep the number of players, and now that I see how a stock preforms their entire platform is a money making scheme now more than a good product.

Made money on SNDK short.
Lost on that bastard stock VMW long.
Would have done phenomenal today if I stuck to shorting that piece of crap. I just know it will pop a few bucks upward either tomorrow, Friday, or Monday, and I´d like to catch it when it runs. Probably the best thing is to stay away from it though.

The Oil and Gas guy at my work is trying to get me to invest in some stocks. The one he's talked about the most is PSEC. I keep thinking I'm going to invest my tax return into buying some stocks next year.

one thing I noticed on PSEC is the debt they have 50% of assets value in debt. typically I think if it was 600m on the 6b it might be better but nearly 2.8b on 6.6b asset

And then you wonder, what is the quality of those assets? How are they valued? Who made the promise to repay? PSEC is lending money to some private entity, that may or may not be able to repay.
They are paying out more in dividends than they are taking in. Not a lot more, but some.
Personally debt in the oil sector is a place I'd avoid. Everyone was getting all excited about oil going back to 70 when it hit 50 now it's 46 and going to retest 38 at some point. There really is a lot of oil around, and very little demand for it. The supply cuts in shale in the US mean zip in terms of real fundamentals other than saying just how bad they are. It's not a cause for optimism when they shut down rigs, at least not near term. These shale guys are operating on fumes as it is, wait till oil really goes down the shitter.

one thing about this stock market thing, I never have the money to buy the stocks that come to me I need cash in account, I have money tied up in long term investments that aren't making me money. I've missed out on 30$ on 300 from BLK 10$ from 24 on ATVI Like theres more then I wish to share, I think I am ging to revamp my approach. WTB strategy paying well...nothing

Did good today. Only 1 trade (although a couple entries)...
Basically the main trade was short 500 STX @ $43.97 and buy to cover @ $40.65.
+$3.32/share
I got in @ 9:55am which is the second red 5-minute bar after the open...I exited @ 12:21pm.

So I see this as bothersome when the history of the stock shows 10$ in the beginning 15 years ago and periods up to 10 years with no movement and then one jump recently as well as current jump.

1) Bad trade of day shorted BABA and had too tight of a "buy to cover" STOP which filled before the stock plummeted more...Lost about $60.

2) Longed VMW early on and lossed .20....Then went heavier later on @ $71.47 and set my STOP LOSS @ $71.95 which filled...Made $134.

3) Made $79 shorting WYNN quickly in/out...Was not a good trade considering WYNN skyrocketed and I was clearly on the wrong side of the trade.
4) STX: Shorted at the open and then went long later...Best trade of the day even though I covered my short way too soon and basically "revenge-traded" by going long a number of times: +$869
TOTAL FOR DAY EXCLUDING COMMISSIONS = $1,020.91.

I am doing something similar to what Mr. Alien ("My profits on the stock market") is doing.
I trade with a prop firm, have you heard of a proprietary trading firm?
It takes $5000 to "buy-in", and your account balance is going to start at zero.
Default setting is you get to trade with $100,000, with a max loss per day of $500, with a maximum share count on any one position set at 2000 shares. This can be adjusted to your preference though.
If I lose $500 during the day my account will automatically sell off my open positions and become disabled. The account stays locked until the following trading day. So worst case scenario is a loss of $500 in 1 day.
Here is the catch:
1) If at any point you hit -$3800 your account is closed and you need to re-fund another $5000. So even though you paid in $5000 you lose your entire 5k if you go down just -3.8k.
2) About $250 a month to use their trading platform.
3) They keep 5% of your profits so $50 on every $1000 gain.
These risks are worth it if you don't have a lot of capital to start with. However, if you trade like a fool you will lose fast.

excuse my vocabulary for the following: gotta have nuts, if you believe in a stock the money doesnt even seem to come with expertise I see you need to place the bids when you have the guts to recognise thats low enough and then be able to sell and retest. I can see the thrill in being a suit trading millions just balls out, you may have heard the expression throwing caution to the wind well I have my own expression it came to me after a odd circumstance, you gotta be able to throw your condom to the radiator. no protection its evedent everyone want your money and pkwer up you are the one who has the gumption to blast ahead of the pack sell before a decline and buy jt right back fer less, run that comb through yur' balding mane and take a seat before the screen and make something from nothing.

I read the book by the guy who own SMB Caapital ( One Good Trade: Inside the Highly Competitive World of Proprietary Trading (Wiley)). They train and coach their traders. They also keep you apprised of what the other traders are doing and what stocks are moving.
Do you get any kind of training, coaching or other information from them.

Binary options trading gives traders a flexibility to calculate risk and reward before the trade. Since the profit and loss are known ahead of time, investors are ready to bet every time. But starting in the trade should begin with a good basic and fundamental knowledge, guidance of experts like present here https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpA02tGLvK9UlxOhuX0LE9A who shared the views and provide complete the technical analysis of the market in different prospects.

3 Day Losing Streak.
Monday - Loss Tuesday - Loss Wednesday - Loss
Had some really good trades that fell through...Shorted FIT @ $38.20 today and again @ $38.10....Chart looked really red on the 5 minute...
It dropped to $38 and then spiked to $38.30 and took out my overly protective stop.
Shortly after, within about 30 minutes or so, dropped $3/share all the way down to $35.40s!!!! Fuck that was disgusting to watch.
