am knowin am out of the poetry s'ction, wish'd to share this. . heart felt poem written for yoga bunny just now,
written from some meditative bliss, w/ all my h'art put into it mostly;
for love flowin' to my beloved ancestors
it has been said to read li po slow
how much more, with sri ramakrishna.
when thoughts leave,
one should know they are as beautiful.
you are the most lovely story of my life -
to every person i meet, ever.
also don't forget, when feeling cured and happy ,
which i have every confidence will be soon,
to smoke a bowl of ganja and think of me,
if you wish, as you are free.
a slow breath and deep happiness,
beautiful and bliss upon sri ramakrishna. . .
slowest, slowest breathe, simplest, simplest peace.
so little i ask for - so greatly am bless.
ah , the tree tops. . . i have been,
simplest, simplest, breathe,
released
simple breath and am at peace
time and thought are pure release
one breath and all arising all surcease.
we are small - yet we are verses.
one breath and i am healed, at peace.
am so glad for soul's release.
one breath is all my thoughts sucease. . .
one breath is all the seven seas.
each breath is new, each heart-beat divine ;
each moment of the story - yours and mine -
each piece of infinity - inseparably - free
as i am definitely - quite positively.me.
my hand upon the earth, i am free.
my feet upon the skies/sands.
heartbeat of the purelands.
terra free.
w / i was so free -
my thought for thee
i partake of one gram
only -- - -
am so bless
so grace so bless
am sendin am sendin
all my best - free
always,alway
happy be.
beauty.free
boundless,
eternity.

no it has nothing to do with that - it has to do with every human beign on this planet
and two of my ancestors, who died of alcohol, who are dear and beloved to me and with me always.

Regardless of what you think this of OP, this comment is really unnecessary, and actually against the rules of this forum.

When I grew up I didnt have friends. I always grew close to girls but jever told them.
My father passed down chivalry so im grateful for that.
I did have friends who I used drugs with but they just used me for money.
Im still learning how to be a friend.

ah. ya hehe. . an introvert!
i had many good friends, but was an introvert and nature lover. .. we grew up way far out in a beautiful little spot near Hidden Canyon. .
my brother kept me strong - he was three years older than i - and more rambunctious than me, most of the time. .. i remember climbing the mimosa tree in the corner of the yard. ..
and i loved the summer. .. we didn't have a/c usually in the summer, so it was always my favorite later on, very relaxing...
later on i learned who one's friends are is the most -- one of the most important things of life - few things affect us more than the friends we make;
learning this was good, i pieced it together - later on, the best writers talk about it too..
then they also always say - within you are the successes of those greats... the greats of history - they sound familiar to us, because we live them out in our lives... well, Em wrote it a little more beautifully in his essays - History, Character, i enjoyed.
i can help to explain what he meant a little bit - or one other path to experiencing some of that --
we're co-evolving with many other forms of life -- cats, trees, in fact all life -- and, many of these are in fact in symbiosis with --
trees, for example, as well as -- trees and domesticated cats and dogs, would be three main ones that come to mind -- but also many othe thousands, i'm not aware of or not mentioning ;;
yet - that's not the main thing i meant to point out - but rather the fact that we've been here for billions of years. . .
as such - we have all of that history still in our current frame.
Our ancestors are always here with us, guiding us -- i wrote about this in 'being protected, guided and blessed'
in short - the simple way to get in touch with wisdom of this kind is stillness - to varying degrees, this is the way to access it -
since i can remember, i knew a couple of things similar to this -- one is, we lived through an ice age, so i always reasoned, nothing could be difficult after this.
my understanding of connecting with ancestors' wisdom is only one expression of it, but i have found it to be, so far, very reliable and i look forward to more understanding of it -- with no hurry; naturally, as this has been so far, and gladly - and expecting it to continue to be - a very gradual type of thing. . .
when i was still learning to wait, . .. ( learn to wait, and while you're waiting learn to concentrate -- beloved Moondog, 'Do your thing' )
the quote, ' adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience. ' by Em again, was nice... but i fell in love with Moondog equally or even more and he's no better than Dire Straits. . . well, maybe one quintillionth of a percent. hehe
alright i'm being a bit silly with that last, but ya.

I don't really favor a particular style anymore. There's another teacher at the studio where I work who teaches a style called Lotus Flow that I absolutely love. I love to flow because it feels like a dance, but I find these days that the flow styles take a bit of a toll on my body. I practice at home a lot too, I'll just roll out my mat and do whatever feels good; and I also have a membership with this website called YogaGlo and I practice there a lot as well - Yin, Hatha, Kundalini, Yoga Nidra. The teachers they have on that site are absolutely amazing. My personal practice is actually moving more toward very light asana with more breathwork and meditation.
I think chair yoga is great. I might be starting to teach a regular chair yoga class at a factory soon.
