So I just bought a nesco dehydrator and the lowest setting is 95 degrees... should I dry my cyans at 95 degrees? How long would it take to dry them out

95 degrees should be fine. Leave them in until they crack when you bend them.

"Hey bro, got any fresh mushroom?" -"Nah man, I'm cracker dry..."

You should always dehydrate psychoactive mushrooms under 40 degrees C (104 degree F) Any hotter and it will begin to make them useless.

That is what i thought....but i read about everybody making tea with their mushrooms so i dried a bunch of my cyans at 130 for a couple of hours. They should still be fine right?

This is almost false. You would have to dry them for a year at that temp to possibly weaken them. This topic is continually talked about in the cultivation forum. The consensus is that the high heat from a dehydrator isn't going to hurt them. I have the same dehydrator as the op. Depending on quantity, it will take a few days at 95 degrees. I usually set it at 120 and it takes two days. No one has ever noticed a lids of potency. I crank it up to 165 when I need them dry over night. The heat from a dehydrator WILL NOT HURT THEM. People bill them in water all the time and no one complains about them being weak.
Heat degrades just about everything. So yes, it might make them weaker. But you will never notice.
