Just a couple pics, go Falcons.
Looking at that second picture makes me feel as if I'm standing on a gray cliff soaked in thunder clouds with a wooden staff in my hands with a long white beard and a long white robe and a blue hat that's radiating white letters of electricity that read "The Pines." Holy shit man. Great picture. Great find.

I'm curious about this... Did you eat these before or after a TI told you they weren't active? Regardless of your answer, could you now describe onset of trip? And at what point did you realize you were inside your own head? Last but certainly not least, do you do these kinds of things frequently?

Guys and gals, before I hit the sack, I'm looking for a little help. Last year there was a thread started regarding a find that was made in Georgia. It seemed to have a caused a bit of a stir. The mushroom, if I remember correctly, was growing from straw and was posted, I believe, as a possible weilii find. Anyways, I believe the OP sent off samples to be tested, yada-yada, and the results seem to have come back as a different mushroom. I can't find that thread. Can anyone send me a link or post it in a reply here? After going back out today and sitting down at the patch, rather than hurrying along like I normally do, I just took my time and really honed in on the habitat. I noticed that every mushroom was thriving off of the thick, dying clusters of the same grasses that are cut for hay here. This got my wheels turning a bit... Over the last 5 days I have walked at least 50 miles of powerline and gasline property and have found nothing. With that being said, I can only conclude that this particular type of grass in this particular state of maturity is the only missing variable on these other properties. Where the mushrooms I have picked are growing, there are hardly any pine trees. I'm very curious, now, about the straw lover posted last year and as to whether or not there may possibly be a correlation.

CBA. I remember when I was like you. I tried SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HARD to get someone to help me or teach me or whatever and NO ONE WOULD (of course all the written knowledge was written there but that is not the same)!!! Asked all my friends did what i knew took risky actions and almost got myself in a REALLY hairy situation.
IT TAKES MONTHS about 1.5 -3 months to establish yourself in knowledge and REAL patience/failures/experiemnts. Forced upon you by your piers and by the simple fact that mushrooms take "forever." to grow. In fact how they eat and grow is so fucking amazing and fast for what is actually happening.
It is painful BUT its for your own good and you will understand after a few months if you stick with mushrooms. By next year you will walk past a patch and smile remembering this..
They are a gift from the heavens and everyone has wanted them as bad as you have and MUCH WORSE be careful and start developing your patinece (people generallt don know what they are getting themselves into when it comes to the patience requires.).
The mushroom gods are testing you and will soon "aveil" as long as you begin loving mushrooms and learning what you can from them.
WILLIAM WORTHLESS Mar 21 barley field
I wandered through the barley so beautiful and gold so wonderful to touch so wonderful to hold.
underneath the sun growing oh so high standing very upright reaching for the sky.
growing very free growing in the wild looking very lovely so gentle meek and mild.
such a lovely site and growing oh so tall the day I walked through barley is a day I will recall.
If you stick your nose to the grind stone and pool your resources and knowledge. You can find/grow more mushrooms than you can ever shake a stick at.

all the info you could ever possibly need to find weilii/caerulescens is covered ad nauseum. turn that sad desperation into positive motivation.
