Habitat: they were growing in an old cutover out of the soil on a northern facing slope
Gills: black with white spots that are tiny as shit. gills are not attached to stem.
Stem: Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc.length and diameter unknown. color a knid of milky brown or copperish with lines running vertically along it
Cap: Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.diameter of the cap varies greatly from 1/2 inch to 2 inches, the color is a copper color but on the lighter side altough most of the caps are black almost entirely from the amout of spores coating them
Spore print color: very dark black after only a few hours
Bruising: Color that the mushroom bruises, if any. theyre not bruising only becoming moist when i smushem.
Other information: mushroom smells like shrooms,

Not a Panaeolus sp., most likely Lacrymaria sp.

Lacrymaria sp. has a typical "mushroom" odor, and also a dark blackish spore print.
What really distinguishes it from i.e. Psathyrella (and Panaeolus) spp. is the more or less felty to hairy cap surface, which might become smooth in age. You can see this feature easily in pictures 4 and 6.
