damp rip solidified

the damp-rid in the bottom of my drying chamber has all stuck together. i went to change it thinking i would need some new ones by now but it has all formed one solid block in the bottom of my jar. has this happened to any one else, or does someone know of a way to get it out to replace with some new ones?

That's what Damp Rid does over time. When it's spent it turns into a brick like that.

Just go buy some more.

Chop it up with a hammer or hatchet or something so it's little pieces again and dry in the oven. It just absorbed A LOT of water.

i just got a ton (the big refill box) of damp rid today, only $2.49! gotta love the mom and pop hardware store.
