lol thats funny, naw power has gone out before lots of times, once for days. But everytime it does it does its a helpless feeling untill you know the problem and that its fixable in a timely manner.
If a total power grid collapse happened honestly i don't know what id do. Probably stock up on canned goods, water, gas, and bullets, and some kind of generater.

Personally I plan to have bought all my groceries before I take down the power grid.

I didn't know that you planned to personally take down the power grid. that changes everything.
after everybody has gone all "end of the world crazy" you could just turn the power back on. A nice little maneuver to not only reduce the population, but to actually let only the fittest humans survive for the first time in a while.
