Just posted this in the EMC because I hadn't realized me moved on to Mid-Day.

Had a migraine yesterday
But today is a new day!
I was gonna play some magic yesterday with some friends but I had to cancel.
But they were nice enough to reschedule the draft for today to Lily and I could make it.
Gotta love friends! They make life worth living.
Gonna meet up with then at Dungeons and Drafts in an hour or so.

I have to go to physics lab. I haven't even read the chapter yet so hopefully my lab buddies will pull me through. I HATE physics. Why do all math teachers put questions on the tests that they haven't even showed you how to do, or trick problems?
I gotta find something to eat within 10 mintues too. See you guys in the LNC later.

I'd say it depends on whether you want a "self defense" style like Aikido, or a more aggressive or practical style like Muay Thai or Jeet Kun Do. Always remember that no one style has it all and there are plenty of bullshit artists out there.

I would recommend doing a lot of personal reading about martial arts and figure out what appeals to you. Cross reference that with what you can find available in your area, and go for it.
Don't underestimate the value of the teacher too though. Just because it's a martial art you are interested in, it's just as important that you find a person who you can connect with who is good at teaching it.
Obviously I'm partial to Aikido myself.

I like a mix of martial arts
personally my favorite martial arts are Wrestling BJJ maui Thai kickboxing
I love sparring and wrestling with friends it good honest tiring play often overlooked by many Kinda like dogs playing but more advanced
Submissions and holds are fun Its nice to know hoe to put someone to sleep for a few minutes, and how to punch or kick properly, and good footwork!
Martial arts are awesome!

There's different schools of thought on dabbling. It is good to have a skill set with a lot of variety, but unless you are able to devote several hours every day to training, if you spread yourself too thin, you never will really get good at any of them.
