Found in our backyard. I discarded it because it has large worms growing in it but I'm interested in knowing what its name is.

It's a Gymnopilus species, probably an active one.

Purple, pink, and orange colors are present in this collection. Orange is common throughout the genus. Purple and pink are not ubiquitous in the genus.

Hesler mentions purple in the following:

Gymnopilus peliolepis
Gymnopilus luteofolius

And pink here:

G. braendlei x2
G. pulchrifolius
Gymnopilus abramsii (lamella)
Gymnopilus aeruginosus
G. luteofolius

And lilac here:

Gymnopilus aeruginosus
Gymnopilus punctifolius

If you are up for the challenge, you can compare your collection(s) with the above species. Keep in mind that that the species you have found may not be on the above list.

Maybe someone knows the species and can recognize it by sight.

Perhaps it is close to http://www.shroomery.org/12472/Gymnopilus-purpuratus

Now I feel bad for discarding it. :/ It looks like it's either a G. purpuratus or a peliolepis. I'll find another one and get its print. Sure ID before eating, right? Anyway, thank you for the replies! Never knew they existed here in south east Asia.
