Testing a scale to predict emotional outcomes. Volunteers wanted.
    #22365797 - 10/11/15 09:45 PM (8 years, 3 months ago)

I have been trying to understand the flow of moods and emotions to determine what and why it is that they move. What makes us sad, what makes us happy etc.

This is not for someone who is feeling fine, if you have a lot of feelings/thoughts but you cannot label your emotions, please be emotionally honest to yourself and place yourself on this scale for how you felt in the given moment after an event your senses observed.

E.g. There is a bug on my face, I missed the bus, my bf/gf is spending time with someone else etc.

If you're an emotional person because of things that have happened and you don't know how you feel about them then put yourself on this scale and I'll tell you what emotion you felt

EDIT: The mood doesn't actually matter. Just the perception and reaction.
EDIT:EDIT: The mood DOES matter! It helps at reducing the variables of what the emotion is likely to be.

READ THE UNDERLINED TERMINOLOGY
An understanding of these is required for emotional honesty.

I had an earwig in my hair earlier today. I was annoyed and thought of murdering the little bastard.

Put yourself on the scale for that moment and i'll give you the exact emotion you felt.

Being that subjective you're passionate, in love or you hate someone.

yes, yes, and i don't know if hate is the right word. dislike, distrust, maybe, but i don't think i actively hate anyone in particular.

but i still don't see how anyone's perception could be more or less subjective  maybe you should explain to me what you mean

They were, you are passionate, in love.
or
you hate someone.

You are passionate and in love.

Anxiety
Objective +5
Ego +3

Me all the time. I cant escape my mind yo. Intangibility is a paradox and i contantly think about it. I overanalyze everything and it gives me anxiety. But i guess i cant control it so maybe its instinct?

You're afraid of something, either abandonment from loved ones/friends
or you are afraid to follow your passion.

I'm sorry but can you please further explain this.

Lets just say I said for example, "I feel like shit right now."

That would be subjective. Objective wiuld be noticing the feeling in a detached way rather than a victimized way, as a coping mechanism or as a way to analyze and learn

I made an equation of emotion so I'm testing it's power of predictability and how repeatable it is. Right now I have not summarised enough to explain it and require further testing.

If you don't understand the terminology being used I suggest you look it up yourself because it would take too long to explain.

I would very much like to participate in this thread.

Wouldn't any emotion (being angry, being sad, being happy) be subjective. Or am I still not getting this? Very sorry.

You need to understand what the terminology means beforehand, It is difficult to explain with ease so you should look it up and understand it yourself.

You have to understand this because the test requires emotional honesty.
