Outdoor irrigation for oysters.

I live in California and want to start an outdoor golden oyster grow. I have a 54"x54"x30" box that is netted. 625 holes per square inch. Inside is a pvc stand with hooks to hang log bags. I need help! I have no growing experience and don't know how to water them. I can rig up a solenoid valve to a timer to water as much and often as needed. Does anyone have experience watering outdoors? Mister options?

Yes, I would rig up a solenoid valve on a timer and pay close attention to how much evaporation is occuring from your blocks/bags of oysters. Fresh air exchange definitely wont be a problem wit your setup. Just make sure you keep that baby in a well shaded area with out direct sunlight.
Some sort of very fine misters attached would definitely be the way to go in my opinion. Any way you can get more shelving in there would increase your yield potential by holding more blocks/bags of oysters.
Another thought that crossed my mind is that you may run into humidity problems if the ambient humidity is low and temps are high. I think if you had the misters set to the right interval you are in business my friend.
You could always toss a piece of poly over the screen and make some holes for gas exchange while maintaining RH levels.
Keep us posted with pics and we will try to help you on your endeavor.

I have plenty of plastic sheeting I can wrap around the net with slits down to the bottom. I'm thinking I might start over with the inside.
I could make a big tray out of a poly sheet and fill it with perlite. This could hold an inch or two of water and add humidity. Then after that I'm lost. Im not sure what I want my oysters growing out of.
There is a person near me that sells food grade 4 gallon buckets. Would not being able to see if my substrate is contaminated be a reason to avoid buckets. I like how stable they are and easily stacked. I planned on using lime pasteurized straw.
Thanks for the reply Psilocelium

This raindrip timer i use on my garden and it real easy to program and adjust. A patio mist setup would work well for mist delivery. A fine mesh garden hose filter would also be a good idea to prevent nozzle clogging from sand or rust particles.

I would bet humidity is not gonna be a problem with that setup. Especially if you install some misters. I have my oysters outside, and all I do is take a sprinkler watering can, and water them once in the morning , and once at night. I do my outdoor lions mane the same way.
Sometimes people get way too complicated and overthink things.
