Using BAP on Columnar Cactus

Hey guys, I volunteered to use my collection of Trichocereus to demonstrate the effects of BAP on a cactus for my horticulture class. The teacher requested I provide the directions for mixing and applying the hormone.
I've read a few guides that mention mixing BAP with Lanolin at around 1-5%. Some guides also mention intentionally damaging areoles, while others fail to make mention of it.
So I'm curious; Does anyone here have experience using BAP on your Trichs? If so, how did you about applying it? Is there a guide that you believe has a particularly good recipe and instructions for application?

When I experiment with it I use a thumb tack or a safety pin. I use maybe double the thickness of the actual metal, it doesn't take a lot from my experience. Then I would stab it into the areole, making sure some gets into the hole I made and enough to have some on top of the whole.
After about a week you should see some damage to the areole almost like it is burnt in that one spot.

Instruct your professor on organic techniques to apply a cytokine and use a simple kelp tea, watered into the soil.

We are specifically using BAP for the lesson.

Apparantly scratching an areole with a toothpick and weak lanolin bap mixture is all you need to do, not stab it. Im about to try this on my unamed pachanoi clones, since they are just grafting stock without having known genetics.

I tried scratching it, it didn't work to well for me. When I stabbed it I had great results, now I'm only putting the head of the needle in I'm not going balls deep into the core of my cacti.

Dude give me a lil time to find the mixture amounts but I wanted to tell you to please post all the info, experience and results you get from this class and lesson.
I have a bunch of BAP-6 but I don't really know what to do with it and the proper math behind mixing it "I REALLY suck at math in general ".
Ok I found it pretty quickly so here it is.
Here's is where I found it and it's mixed with Potassium Hydroxide Solution.
I wish you the best of luck and please share whatever you learn here so we can all learn from it as well
