So, I got myBridgessi clippings, and plan to prepare my tea soon. Camping with two of my friends for three nights to fully enjoy the experience. We want to set up a makeshift sweat lodge, among other things, but I do need a question answered.
How long does the tea last? Can I finish the brew the night before, and refrigerate it, and bring it in a thermos or something for a few hours, while we hike and set up the lodge?

For sure, I refrigerated it, but I would maybe boil it one time in the morning.

Many thanks! I assume the boiling will only reduce it, and not take some potency away?

I just made some bridgesii tea the other day. Got too late making it so I refrigerated it overnight and it was just fine. Trip lasts basically all day so don't wait too long to do it or you'll be up all night, especially with bridgesii. It's electrifying.
And mescaline is generally considered very heat resistant and not harmed significantly by boiling, but without adding more plant matter (/cactus chips/whatever) there is nothing to be gained by reheating it. I'm not sure why qman suggested it. It's easier to consume when it's cold.

I personally haven't ever tripped on any cacti BUT bridgesii, but I do know there are a more diverse group of alkaloids in bridgesii than the other mescaline cacti. These extra alkaloids provide a very distinct physical component to the experience. At 35g dry, for me it was a full body trip. Many say the body high feels like MDMA and I agree with them.

It'll keep fine. I've kept it for months in the fridge before. Sometimes it will eventually go moldy though.

A makeshift sweatlodge? Those can be dangerous. Also psychs cloud your perception of how your body is feeling with a sweatlodge (if your doing a real deal enclosed fire one) sounds like a bad idea. Also......have you ever done cacti? The nausea is too much for many people bring anti nausea remedies. You gotta keep it down at least 2 hours! Otherwise you'll be disappointed.

I'm going with 15", my friend is sticking to 12". The third guy is sitting for us two. Hes gonna keep the sweat lodge steaming, and tend the fire as well. Bringing some dokha, since I don't have any Nicotina Rustica, taking the strongest tobacco I can find in town, for cleansing before drinking the brew. Any suggestions are well welcomed, however. This is my first time with mescaline, the strongest I've gotten has been LSA and Muscaria.

The sitter is making sure we dont say more than 45 min at a time in the lodge if we go back into it, we planned on it mainly for before the trip. And while I know its not as bad, I've kept Woodrose and Muscaria down for their entire journeys.
