It's fine condensation doesn't matter anyway.

I was always under the impression that condensation is a sign of humidity and humidity is pretty important?

Condensation is caused by a temperature differential between the inside and outside of the tub. It has no correlation to humidity.

i was wondering because i noticed you had it stuffed with polyfill already i tape my holes after spawning/during colonization to keep moisture in and co2 levels up Did you intent to have them open or did you make a mistake?

no worries bro don't put them in garbage bags tape the holes up for the reasons in my last response. garbage bags is outdated info we've found out that light is beneficial at all stages of development

Don't put anything in a garbage bag.
If you spawned it yesterday then you don't want FAE yet so no polyfil.

Tight polyfil for spawn, loose polyfil for fruiting. Has worked wonders everyte. This is the first time that the moisture level inside the bin is a bit worrying.

The glue side of the tape being exposed inside the bin won't cause any problem?

Maybe if the glue has some type of organic material in it that can rot over time leaving the inside vulnerable to contaminations.
But I'll definitely take your word for it.
So, the bin looks like it's lacking humidity and the polyfil should be replaced with duct tape asap?

no airflow no evaporation = lower humidity. you can't see humidity. condensation happens because of temperature differences. condensation occurs even at low RH

Ah ok I see. Thanks for the heads up. So your advice would be to just leave it and let it do its thing?
