not colonizing after 3 weeks: short water content? AE lack? Heating?

Hey Mush People , I've try to search in the forum but did not find the answer that I was looking for. A friend started a B+ spawn with wheat grain 3 weeks ago, but there is no signs of micelium growing. Some problems that may be in the source:
1) He didn't soak the grain before. He was with no time, so he just cooked the grain for 10 min, left 30 minutes cooling and then removed the water and use it. The grains were easly smashed (well cooked) and were loosed (calcium sulphate and calcium carbonate was added). But, giving this case, do you think that maybe there isn't water enough for colonization?
2) He built the jar lid for air exchange with synthetic cotton and plastic micropore. He taped in the two sides and in the middle is the synth cotton, but maybe he pressed too much the cotton. Do you think the problem is the lack o air exchange due to the highly pressed cotton? He spiked through the tape, so theres a small hole from the syringe.
3) After the first week, after no growing at 20-21ºC, the spawn jars were moved to an incubation box with a heat @ 25-27ªC (77-80.6 F). No light in the incubator. Maybe too much heat and need of light?
4) The syringe was bought online. Any possibility of damage in transportation (too much heat??).
Some pics:

Thank you for your atention, borodin

I think you have the likely answer with point 1. I've not used corn, but I don't think you want the kernels to burst usually as you'll have too much starch making it sticky etc

I have never used solely corn. So I really dunno. Just watching this thread.
It doesnt look contaminated.
How many cc's did you use?

It was not corn, was wheat grain! It was used 1-2 cc.

Oh, haha sorry.
If the grains burst, they should have gotten enough water.
I've found that once burst they're just harder to shake, and can contam easier once mixed with bulk.
I would think it would be an issue with the spores.

Do you think it is possible that the syringe came with inviable spores from the supplier?

Friends would expect you to use TOR so if the heat every even cared they wouldnt force you to give them up by pretending to charge you with a conspiracy charge (2 or more people talking about committing a crime).
