Its the nature of many christians that they embrace God and reject the Devil. They choose to believe in that duality.

Other beliefs systems look at the bigger picture, the force underlying Good and Evil.

Yeah same here...good rule to live by. Don't fuck anyone over & be a good person throughout life.

1 thing...if he believes in the devil, then he has to believe in God. You can't have 1 without the other.

it doesnt work that way, it's a narrow minded christian mindset, satanism is a
response to christianity's lies and deceit, there is no satan, any actual
satanist will tell you that. the satanic bible refers to god as the construck of
the imagination of men, history tells is that the christian god was one from a
polytheistic society and a group that eventually called themselves the jews made
a pact to follow only one of those gods and this god supposedly agreed to protect
them as long as they only worshipped him. he was one of the many Canaanite gods
which is why the judeo/christian texts have this god asserting constantly "I am
the one true god" of which some sects of this christian cult even see the phrase
"I am" as a sin because "I am" is one of the seven true names of god

christians dont want to know their origins, that there were other gods, before
this god even though it is repeatedly mentioned in the bible, yes, the god of
pride had many competitors including Molech and Ba'al

I'm also a dad, but my son is 24 (I'm 61) & if he laid that on me, I'd be disappointed...& shocked!

1 cool thing about free-will. You can believe in whatever you like. Personally, I hate satanic stuff & hope it's a phase...but if he believes in satan, he has to believe in God. Can't have evil without good.

again, it doesnt work that way, mankind has constructed the gods, all of them in
their own image, each will see a different god, one may see a vengeful god filled
with wrath that should be feared while others see a god of love. none the less,
christians cannot be about free will because it is all about the will of god, one
cannot worship the false gods because he will surely spend eternity in a lake of
fire, one cannot set his own course because god has ordained our destinies with
his plan

to believe that evil cannot exist without good is the same as good cannot exist
without evil, and yet everything was supposed to be good until lucifer is
supposed to have rebelled against god, now why would an angel of such great power
rebel against the creator of all, lucifer was the enlightened one, what did
lucifer see of his god that he felt the need to rebel, why did lucifer feel the
need to convince man to eat from the tree of knowledge so that they may see god
for who he really is

if there was an evil, wouldnt the one professing to be the beginning and the end
be that evil, the very god that will curse your children for ten generations for
your transgressions, the same evil that destroyed many cities and civilizations
because he doesnt allow for free will. the one who's jealousy and wrath have
killed millions by his own hands simply because he was not getting his way, the
one who's pride would not allow his perfect creations to "become one like us" and
know the difference between good and evil

if there is an evil it is the god of abraham but man dooesnt need a god to tell
him what is right and wrong, man doesnt need a god to have morality, some men
need these things because maybe in their hearts they feel they cannot stop
committing these sins without some fictitious, divine guidance and with no
punishment for their sins, but then they are ignoring the teachings of christ
just as they always have, when will you mote that beam from thine own eye

there is no god, there is no satan, satanism is merely a response to the
ridiculousness that calls it's self christianity

Good lord!! (oh no...they see thru me...they see thru me!!) Are you taking this stance because your 12 yr old kid claims he's a satanist? Has he even read anything about any of this? Or did he see a pic that he thought looked cool & now proclaims his beliefs to some deformed demonic dude?
I get it...you want your kid to be the apple of your eye. Just don't let that apple become rotten to the core. Plus whoever said to keep him away from adult satanic psychos is trying to help you. I doubt you want your kid mixed-up with devil worshipers who might see him as the next sacrifice.
Society has sure changed from when I was 12 yrs old. We didn't even bother with shit like this. We were too busy riding our sting-ray bikes with the banana seats & the high handlebars. 12 yrs old & talking about satan? Times sure have changed for the worse, imo.
Ask anyone in the military if they're in a combat situation, do they pray "Please help me get thru this okay, satan!" Or is it, "Please help me to survive this, God!"?? There are no atheists / satan worshipers in foxholes...I guarantee that!
12 years old is way too young to be thinking about stuff like this. He needs a normal, fun-filled childhood & when he turns 18, then pick what you want to believe. I'll keep my beliefs as I have for 60+ years.

Satanism isn't really a religion. They just don't do anything, it's more of a parody of christianity. Pretty much made to anger christianity.

But, there are actual devil worshippers. That's really a different thing tbh.

When I was 12, I contemplated my religious beleifs quite a lot as well as my own sexality. That age is such an awkward age to be in. It's literally his first steps on figuring out who he is.

Lol wat? I'm sure there are many atheist soldiers. A very large portion of the population is atheist and they're normal people

The difference is, now kids have access to any information they could ever want - and so will make decisions based on what kids 60 years ago could've rarely even found out.. It has positives and it has negatives, but overall I believe them knowing more and basing their decisions off of that is far and away more positive than negative.

I don't know if 'get to 18 then pick a belief' is at all realistic, mine are still evolving and I'm a good bit past 18.

I would bet you any amount of money that if a soldier was looking down the barrel of a rifle, he'd either be mumbling "Please God, let me live." & not "Please satan, let me go to hell!"
Because, as we all know, if there's 1 entity that can be trusted, it's the head devil. He'd never steer someone wrong. He's so cool (or would that be 'hot'?) & would never lie.
I'm sure you youngsters out there are thinking that I'm the naive 1. I hope I get to see everyone in Judgment City! Now THAT is going to be 1 fun time.
That's where everyone will be sitting in Judgment City Diner eating crow.

Just break a few Commandments. Problem solved.

I did want to mention...yeah, when I was 12 yrs old, we didn't know a fraction of what 12 yr olds know about in this day & age. Is it better now? That's an entirely different debate. Were we less fortunate not being as informed? I think there's way too much info for kids' heads. It was nice being comfortably numb. I liked not knowing certain shit. Made life easier & simpler.
