actually, its not studio work i will be doing it is designing--the comany is Universal Audio, which makes a lot of pro audio gear. my second choice to live is denver/boulder/cclorado springs since this axis has become the new axis of startups for high tech, what with California getting so expensive.

Wooo doggie, the Stone is long gone, the main rock/metal venue is now in the south bay, San Jose Rockbar theater. A friend of mine who is a commercial real estate investor opened it last year...

I drop 2k a month on rent here in san diego but as an engineer i make enough to have a lot left over, so its good.
Use to live in Alameda--if you call living on a ship living but most of the time I'd stay at my gf's house in sf liberals dont bother me, i get along fine with everyone excet politiicians of every stripe.
I do wonder if the rock club called 'the stone' is still on broadway street right next to CHinatown. THey used to have some fucking Hot bands there. I saw Paul Gilbert with Racer-X play 'Eruption' on his guitar with a pick glued to a blacck and decker drill.
Motherfuck...seeing racer x would be so sweet.
