How to prepare substrate for wood loving strains

I have been growing for many years now and I would like to experiment with wood loving strains. I have access to 50+ acres of oak trees with plenty of dead fall. I would love to utilize this and grow me some fungi. I prefer to grow in monotubs since I feel I can control the climate a little better. So what's the best way for me to harvest and prep all of these old Oak trees that I have? Do I go for the oldest bigger logs and some how chop it up? Or can I throw little sticks in a chipper shredder? Any information on this would be most appreciated. Thanks

The only woodlovers I'm aware of are Gymnopilus species.. Check out javadog's grows. I think they were mostly sawdust bricks, maybe done in a greenhouse? I think he did a comparison of a mycobag and a monotub and the mycobag did better.
Weillie (sp?) might be doable as well.

I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister. I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave. I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent. Triggered yet? Only a square would say "a cube is a cube."
No, this does not look right...

There are many woodlovers. Azurescense, cyans, ovoids, all fall in the woodlover category. Look up any teks for those and you'll be good.

Yeah it's cyanfriscosa. Just sent in the order to ralphster's. Was hoping someone could tell me the best way to harvest and prep wood for it.

i think the most common way people do it is: agar -> grain -> wood chips alternatively you could do: agar -> grain -> dowels -> log.
if you have a clean syringe you can try inoculating a grain jar or pf-cake. but often syringes from outdoor species are not clean. if successful though you can spawn to wood chips from there.
