Oyster mycelium on agar or mold? - 1st grow

I purchased a LC syringe of grey oyster from a reputable vendor and started it on agar four days ago. This is my first grow, but I followed RR's video as far as sterile technique. I sterilized my agar for 45minutes at 18PSI in my All American 25x. For the inoculation I wore gloves, tyvek sleeves, hairnet and mask under a vertical laminar flow hood and flame sterilized the needle. My control agar plate is clean. I am just wondering if this is mycelium or one of the cottony molds? The agar is just very tomentose and growing very fast. Maybe that is because it was LC and not from spores though? The black specs on the agar are from where I scorched my agar slightly(oops, I know now I should have pitched it). Thanks for the help!

Only PC agar for 20-30min, anything past this can caramelize the sugars and leave less nutrients available for the mycelium. It also saves you time.
Oyster is very tomentose and fast, it looks good to me but i am a rookie

Thanks Toadstool5, I appreciate the help and the great info on the agar. I just PC'd some more and did it for 25 min as you suggested. It turned out great, no more burned bits. I'm going to transfer to a new plate once it cools.

No problem! Little things are easy to miss, my first time doing agar i added the powder to the water and had to stir clumps out for hours. It was horrible and I am too cheap to throw away 3$ worth of media.
You seem really well researched for a first grow so i doubt you will have major issues. Either way if you ever have doubts post pics and somebody will be able to help. The shroomery rocks.
