The growth on that tub is ridiculous! Congratz on your success with this tek.

I think I'm gonna go back to no holes again when I finish my current grow. I'm having LOTS of trouble "dialing in" these tubs with holes and polyfill, resulting in lots of aborts in the center of my tub and only the side pins getting to maturity. Never had that issue before with a sealed tub.

This is awesome!
What are your thoughts if this was to be done with MS spawn? (Without taking genetic variance into consideration).

Ms grows do well if conditions are good. But good cultures do help a lot. Ms grows usually can be pushed to good performance if all else is right

your sterile technique is what should work. iso sanitized gloves are not sterile either, touch your sanitized gloved hand to a dish and see what happens. if you're confident in your techniques you don't need to wear gloves with a SAB

I wipe down quart jar lids but just spray the inside with very very dilute soap water, that's all. I'll iso wipe the SAB before setting it up just to make sure it's not dusty. or I'll use a lysol wipe if I have one.
I don't iso my hands or spray iso anywhere.
I do have a small shotglass of 91% that I dip my scalpel in before flaming it red hot. just to help sterilize a little further up the handle than the blade itself too.

Let me know how it works. When doing agar work with beer there's no SAB or FH. Out of thousands of dishes there might be mold overgrowth on two dishes. It's all aboot the technique

My wife is a phlebotomist and brings home these super strong iso wipes. In a nice convenient container, just pull em out like tissues. She also brings home gloves and those vacutainers the red ones.

Was that at room temp? What is your standard room temp?
I'm about to get a mono tub going and my room temp is about 19C which is about 66f, do you think this is too cold?
Looking good anyway, a harvest like that would make me happy

19c is just fine. 68-72f is great. 65-75 is too. I'm usually between 18-20c
