Need help on identifying contaminant vs. Spore clump

First time grower. A few days ago, I was worried about this same jar I am working on so you can see pics from back then from my profile if that'll help. But now I'm more concerned than I was then. In the attached pic, the part of the jar you're viewing is in between two inoculation sites. The right site is a pretty white/off-whiteish color. But the left inoculation site is a little more grey, and has been giving me some trouble. The left site has yellow blots in the center of the mycelium, which I assume are just metabolites. But in between the two sites is that darker, nearly blackish spot. I've been reading a lot about clumps of spores forming dark areas, but I have no idea what that would look like as this is my first time. Any and all advice will be much appreciated. Thank you

The dark spot looks like a contaminate, however your healthy mycelium could still very well grow over it.

Right half is good. Left half is a contamination. There's lots of white molds out there so I can't say which one, but it definitely isn't cubensis. Imo that jars toast.

^ ya. It looks like the mold on the left is growing way faster than the cube mycellium on the right, and it's already got the better half of that jar, so I'd bury that cake and see what happens or just get rid of it. That dark reddish line between the two different fungi is also a sign of contamination. I think it's called a barrage formation.

Here's a link to a similar thread I made a while back (looks like I got rid of the pictures. Sorry. That red line was there though):
