if you eat or cook or juice .. supposedly that has great medical benefits ..
but no psychoactive effect ..
for all our members with microbiology .. degrees ..
can someone could please explain ..
I suspect it has to do with the way the molecule is broken down by heat ..
BUT why is it then when someone eats hashish / weed they are able to get high!?
(I also found this and it was interesting to watch - it is explained / confirmed here at 7 min 20 seconds in: "Juicing Raw Cannabis for highest health benefits" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2jI6FN7DOc
thank you ..

Because THCa is not activated thru the gut it needs to be converted to THC thru decaboxylization to take effect orally. Or in some cases the fat content can break some down partially I think when just eating hashish depending on how it was made not sure if bubblehash would have any effect without fats but BHO could be active orally from heat exposure i'd expect

Some people decarb their weed before making wax. Thats why SOME is active orally. The same goes for tinctures. Wax made without decarbing needs to be consumed in large amounts.
As far as the leaves, there IS thc on the trim/leaves. It is entirely possible to get high/make wax/hash from leaves. The reason juicing wont get you high is because the low concentration of THC, coupled with the fact that its not decarbed.
If you wanted to get high from eating leaves, youd need to heat it, then do whatever you wanted as far as making edibles goes

The leaves may contain different cannabinoids, etc. Such as Cannabidiol, which is not psychoactive but has many, many amazing medicinal benefits.
