Good for you!
I just proved that not every fucking stock is up the "magical 250%"
But yeah, I lost,
No one said every stock is up 250%. The market as a whole is up 250%, which includes both the winning and losing stocks.

Yeah, keep cherry picking your facts, 1.2% GDP growth is horrible, record low labor participation, record low wages,
Hey fal, did you know that unless you are actively collecting unemployment benefits, the govt doesn't count you as unemployed? I bet you did, but better to be a partisan hack than acknowledge facts, isn't it?

First of all, GDP growth is not 1.2%, it's 2.5% (liar). Second of all, if people aren't looking for a job today where the unemployment rate is only 5.0%, they shouldn't be counted. Third of all, as has already been pointed out to you businesses are more profitable than at any time in US history. If they're not sharing that money, that speaks volumes to free markets rather than Government.

I already explained, with only 5.0% unemployment, if you're not looking for a job today, then you shouldn't be counted. There's no reason not to look for work today.

"Looking for work" is not the same as collecting unemployment, you think if people aren't looking for work, they shouldn't be counted? Is this like when you say people lost money in the stock shouldn be counted because "fuck em "?
The U6 number far more accurate number when reporting unemployment and underemployment, but both parties don't use it, it's still an undeniable fact when figuring unemployment to consider ALL people not in the workforce. Currently it is the highest it's been since Carter, but hey, everything is great!
https://www.boundless.com/economics/textbooks/boundless-economics-textbook/unemployment-22/measuring-unemployment-103/measuring-the-unemployment-rate-391-12488/
Now I'm sure this is this part where you blame the record high % not in the labor force on retirees and college students...

That's three lies in one sentence.
1. I never said "everything is great!", I said everything is back to normal. 2. U6 wasn't even tracked until Clinton started doing it in 1994. 3. U6 is clearly not at it's lowest point since Carter, as shown by the data going back to 1994:

You'll note it was lower under Clinton and under Bush than it is today.

im not lying, labor force participation is at its lowest since carter, are you blind???

http://www.businessinsider.com/labor-force-participation-rate-falls-to-38-year-low-2015-7
You just claimed U6 was the best number for unemployment, and when it was pointed out U6 isn't that bad, now the most important number is labor participation rate.
I actually agree with you that U6 is a decent measure, but NOT labor force participation rate. It is declining because more and more baby boomers are retiring. It is declining because more and more high school graduates are going to college.
I don't get the conservative philosophy of not being interested in understanding the statistics, but only being interested in attempting to deceive their way to a fake 'victory'.

blaming bush for the recession is about as ignorant as crediting obama for "fixing" it, you cannot point to ONE bush policy that hurt the economy just like you can't point to ONE obama policy that "fixed" it, so there's that

Bush inherited a recession too, look at the recovery of each, Obumble is obviously worse at this "fixing" of the economy thing...

akira is absolutely correct. You just said it's ignorant to blame Bush for the recession or credit Obama for the recovery, but you credited Bush for the recovery and blamed Obama for not recovering fast enough.
So which is it???
