Yeah me too I went to the strategic voting site and they said liberal in my riding. I would have gone NDP or green too but getting Harper out is the most important thing here. I am going to be so choked if Harper wins

Feel free to provide feedback regarding the Canadian election, there is nothing wrong with staying informed about the politics in other countries.
@OP: My area has a strong Liberal presence, so they are getting my vote as they stand the most likelihood of keeping the seat away from the Conservatives.
This election is mostly about choosing the least worst option. Vote anything but conservative -- then may consider giving them my vote again after Harper has stepped down. At very least want him away from the head of the ship though.

Not sure if anyone watches/cares about the poll tracker, but NDP has been on a downward trend recently, with the fight for first being between Conservative and Liberal.

Justin Trudeau.
He is going to legalize weed and give us proportional representation.
So he says anyways.
I live in Canada. My wife can cast a vote in America though, she is a dual citizen.

The Socialist Party (SP) is a left-wing social-democratic political party in the Netherlands.
Socialist Party (The Netherlands)
For those of you who don't know what "Social Democratic" means, its

A party that is in the green field of the political compass as opposed to the rightwing-authoritarian blue field where all your 2012 presidential candidates except Ron Paul were from.
The green field is where thugs like Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi and the Dalai Lama hang out:

You have a point but not for the right reasons...
We are guaranteed a minority government, its like 30%-30%-25%-5% in the polls. 2 of the eading parties are on the left, so no matter who gets elected, the left holds the balance of power... So that's why I would lie harper to keep his job. he's got 10 years experience on the international picture... The other paties will be passing the bills so all he'll be the rep to othercountries basically.... But im still going NDP with have 25% and will most certainly lose....

NDP here
in my riding, it's traditionally been between the NDP and Conservatives - and I really dislike the Conservatives
I'd be happy with any outcome where Harper & co. are not in power though

No, really. He did.
I heard it.
I don't give a shit a marijuana laws though. Of course it has to be legalized, taxed so the cops can work on real cases and the prisons emptied so they can reinvest ll the saving in universal rehab centers.... But I don't care really... Drugs create jobs in the justice sector so It's all good. A low priority...
Then again, I've been trying to give a fuck abot these elections and there doesn't seem to be any priorities... Don't fix it if it aint broken kinda thing. There's no actual issue that I care about. The NDP's universal child care senior care and national 15$ per day daycare centers are great ideas, awesome concepts really. We'll have to pay 700% more taxes, but the idea is good... Of course. I don't have a kid nor am I a senior, so to me it's all money spent on other people (as usual, I'm a single male. There are no perks for me ever. On top of not getting laid on the regular).

i'm on the fence. probably won't be voting, considering i don't really give a fuck, my single vote will not change a thing, and i could really go either way.
legal weed or no...but i sure hope that that gets considered whatever thee case. all i want is less Harper, that's for sure.
if there's more Harper than Canada can go fuck off.

With the way our current party was found guilty of electoral fraud by the fucking courts, which for some miraculous reasons most Canadians just shrugged off. Im starting to think Canada is turning into Russia 2.0. Not to mention the 10 or 12 conservative cabinet members who've been found guilty of various whitecollar crimes over the last two terms. At this point, Im starting to doubt the efficacy of voting in this country.
