Well I grabbed these two guys bc there are about 9 growing..I'm new to all this but have been doing some deep research on these and psilocybe cubensis.  I live in north alabama usa and last week found 5 cubes and today found these Flys and 4 cubes springing up all bout 30 yards apart. I tripped first time on cubes last week and really liked it but kinda weary in the Flys. What's a good starting dose on them.

I would not indulge in those Amanita if I were you, mushrooms from that genus are not to be taken lightly.  If you're finding cubes then I would focus on those rather than trying to get high from Amanita mushrooms.

Also your Amanita pic is horrible, and given that there are lookalikes out there, it would irresponsible for anyone to say without a doubt that you have found a muscaria type of Amanita.

When taking pics of any Amanita sp. for use in trying to make a proper ID, make sure to get pictures of the whole mushrooms, especially the base of the stem, which will offer clues as to what species you have.

Thanks for the input, I didn't realize the picture was that blurry. I don't plan to indulge until I know for fact it is but I have been researching amanita and look alikes extensively and it may be a look alike. The base does have 3 rings on it and with the red orange cap I thought it may be one of the variety of amanita musceria. I'll take better pictures tomorrow and post them i was curious about trying cubes with amanita but will probably stick with the cubies.
