Any chance of survival?
    #22344371 - 10/07/15 08:48 AM (8 years, 3 months ago)

Here is the situation...I had 2 cakes in a plastic container with perilite in the bottom. One cake wasn't doing anything and the other was fully colonized. Someone picked up the one not doing anything and squeezed it with unsanatized hands.. like a stress ball and ploped it back into the container. The fully colonized one was then picked up and rolled around in her hands. Then ploped it into the container. Then knocked the container over....then tried to put it back..perlite water and all since it spilled out onto a plastic bag I had sitting under it. Will anything grow on this if given time? If the answer is contaminates ....which kind? If its going to waste I'm using it to learn from. The rest in the container were untouched.
