There is one and only piece of music to listen to when stargazing:
GAS - MICROSCOPIC
I recommend watching the music video first though.

This song sounded good to me after a mush trip. I was trying to fall asleep, thinking about all the people I know, the vast dimensions of space and how unique each of our actions is.

I recommend watching the music video first though.
Went and listened/watched it on YT, yeh it would be good trippy music but a little on the light side for my liking. Kinda like listening to the intro to Carl Sagan's Cosmos series. If you like that sort of synthesized music have you ever heard of Mike Oldfield? He did Tubular Bells (theme music for The Exorcist) which was a bit cheesy but very easy to listen to, however his other albums such as Hergest Ridge were very good.
My preference though will always be Pink Floyd (Dark Side) and early Moody Blues albums.

Hope you had a great time, stargazing on psychedelics is utterly beautiful, for future reference...

Yeah I know Mike Oldfield but never digged much. I used to listen to Pink Floyd over and over again in my stoner days. But only recently started listening to them on psychedelics. I got blown away by "Echoes" on mushrooms. This piece of music has a complete new meaning to me now after this trip. It directed the trip for me. There is this dark part of it which nearly got me bad tripping. But I knew the song already so I knew that if I survive that part, there will be some bliss later on. Truly genial.
Never listened to Moody Blues but definitely on my blues list. I listen to so many genres that it is very hard for me to catch up with all artists.
I think for stargazing maybe two Delerium albums: Karma and Semantic Spaces should do the job? These two are some of my fav tripping albums. I've listened to Karma over and over all day long on some fine acid.

Dead Can Dance can be good, Pink Floyd of course, As for rather different options, One From the Vault or Blues for Allah, or any version of Darkstar by the grateful dead have all treated me well while stargazing and tripping. Laying in a 200 acre field on a summer night with my best bud, tripping on lsd for the first time, watching a meteor shower, was what made me begin to love the dead.

Yeah DCD, this time I decided not to mention them as I have recommended them here too many times and I don't want to make an impression of a obsessed person

Hate to break it to you but Mooody Blues has nothing to do with blues music. A long time ago they did one piece of commercial crap that got them known, it was called Knights in White Satin. However this was their only commercial song, the rest were great. For not being a really well known band they were around writing and producing music longer than just about anyone with the exception of the Stones and I suspect they have more albums out than just about any other group. I like their early stuff best but it's all good.
