Need help fruiting inside jar (in vitro)

Hey guys, after many failed attempts of cultivation i was finally able to get a batch of fully colonized jars!! The colonization reached 100% today and i got 6 jars that i wanna fruit inside the jar because i can't get the cakes out (jar mouth too small).
Currently my approach is gonna be wait a week for consolidation if needed, open jars, dry verm later on top, mist dry verm layer, then wait for fruits.
My Questions are:
1: Is 1 week consolidation needed even if your colonization took long (3 weeks+) ?
2: When i pop the lids should i put a zip lock bag over the mouth lid for humidity, like a ghetto fc?
any other tips are appreciated, also i have a bunch of peat moss, can i use that for anything?

Yes the consolidation is necessary...and you should probably set your jars in a SGFC setup... since you can't get them out, when normally you would birth them... you are going to have to wash all that verm off of there fill the jar with water and let that soak for 24 hours then drain and case it with a little verm or something.

i could make a fc with a plastic box i have, is there much of a difference in terms of yield?
also after dunking and applying a dry verm barrier, how long after that should i start seeing pins start popping out?
sweet illustration and lettering in your signature btw.

Better yields in the sense that it creates a better environment for them to grow in. Some people leave them out and get fantastic flushes but that can depend on a lot of environmental factors. Seeing as dryer weather is blowing in (assuming you live north of the equator), most open air will tend to be pretty dry.

But those are from SGFC I'd try the ziplocks ghetto style if I were you. Maybe remove them when you are home and can mist every two hours...
