Ive hit a wall..

Howdy all, ive run into a bit of a problem..
I got a PES Hawaiian Syringe from (removed name) Followed the WBS tek 100%, ive access to an autoclave.
When left to cool the seed wasnt too wet, it wasnt clumping, but i could see there was slight moisture.. nothing too heavy and ive had success with wetter and drier seed.
Just 2 jars, caning lids with micropore tape instead of polyfill
problem is, its been 3/4 weeks now and theres nothing.. not a thing.. not even mold.
Before anyone asks, I added the spores to the jar after the autoclave, after it had cooled to room temp
Hardly a syringe issue?
EDIT : Stupidly i told them what i was doing, hence they have closed the door on my request. Stupid move.

I've had syringes that were completely dead from sporeworks. I wasted months of time until I took an old syringe I had made myself from a spore print and it worked fine right along side a complete worthless sporeworks syringe. They resent more dead syringes. Question their syringe.

so ive recieved a reply from them.
I asked them have they had any issues with dead spores and or other people complaining..
"Our customer support team personnel has replied to your support request #248255
Please understand that we sell our Psilocybian genera mushroom spores for microscopy use only. The culturing and cultivation of these species is illegal in the US and many other countries and we cannot offer any assistance or guidance in this regard.
Thanks for your patience and understanding. This ticket will be closed and further replies to it will not be read or replied to."
@tedoro did they send replacements when you found they were dead?

That seems to be some BS unless you told them they were not growing when you inoculated... You should have told them that you observed over 99% of the spores completely dead/inactive via microscope. It's not much fun watching dead spores on a slide...
But what they said was true...

Remove the sponsor name from your post. It's against the rules. Also spores are for microscopy only and mentioning that you're growing them in an email to them could put you and them in trouble. I would suggest trying another vendor or contacting them in a different manner about your order.

Lol wow that is one of the best sponsors of shroomery. I mean they are all good or else they wouldn't be sponsors but that's a fucking great vendor. You should have just said that you found contaminate spores. Or just simply stated you had a problem with your syringe. They would have then replaced your syringe. Don't mention the spores being dead because that implies that you were attempting cultivation. Which is illegal with those spores which is why you got the reply you did. Not because they didn't want to replace your spores but because they didn't want to get in trouble with the laws. They must protect themselves too. Just as we must not mention cultivating spores from vendors. I don't want the sale and sending of spores to be outlawed completely like they already are in some states in the US, and I'm sure you don't either.

Try agar? Try charcoal agar? Try doing an agar sandwich? Try forced hydration? And if all else fails try snake venom agar.. I'm dead serious though. If you can't get it to germinate after trying so many different things. Cut your losses . But at this point all you can do is wait for those grains, and try it on agar/forced hydration. Or just get a more viable syringe

I have used several vendors over the years. They all have a possibility of an unviable or contamed syringe or print. It happens. But never contact them saying anything about cultivation, you endanger their business by doing so. Simply say spores appear unviable. Nothing more. They ask a lot number and send a replacement. Some may try to discuss methods for germination, I hve had this. Never rise to that bait either.
It happens. Chalk it up to a learning experience and move forward.

Try emailing them again in a different letter/ticket. Explain that they appear to be non viable.

This may sound silly but I ran into a similar problem with a Ps Galindoi spore vial I bought. When looking at the vial I could hardly see any spores to begin with. After injecting my prepared rye jars, they showed no growth nor any contamination after 2 weeks. Then I remembered that I also made a liquid culture so I decided to check up on that and I saw thick cotton balls of mycelium growing. After preparing a couple syringes in a glovebox with the new liquid culture, all of the jars I inoculated after have worked and took off rather quickly. I have absolutely no idea why the spores did not germinate on the rye but it worked out in the end.
